The mission of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) is to provide aviation support to Army special operations forces. Members of the 160th SOAR are nicknamed the "Night Stalkers" because of their specialized training in low-level night operations. Elements of the 160th SOAR have taken part in nearly every major U.S. operation since the 1980s and live up to the regiment's motto -- "Night Stalkers don't quit!"
