The HHD, 382nd MP BN was re-activated as an Army Reserve component on November 19, 2005 at Fort Devens, MA.(Note: Companies A, B, C and D, 382nd MP BN remain de-activated as of 1 July 1964). HHD, 382nd MP Battalion mission will be to provide battalion level support to all of the MP Companies in the 94th RRC (Devens, MA) to include the 344th MP Co, 94th MP Co and 401st Chemical Co. The HHD will be authorized 71 personnel. The Battalion Commander is LTC Jennifer Curry and the Command Sergeant Major CSM Brian Benvie. The 382nd MP BN conducted training and deployed to Kuwait during the summer of 2006 and now is located at Camp Ashraf, Iraq. The Battalion is supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom and is assigned to the 16th MP Brigade.
