U.S. Navy Retired LCDR George B. Thomas passed away February 2, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 77. He is to be inurned at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors on Thursday, May 21, 2009, at 11:00 AM. He was proud of his 30 years dedication to the U.S. Navy, and of his time served on the USS Saipan which dated from June 1951 to November of 1952. Past shipmates are encouraged to communicate with the family as LCDR Thomas "crosses the bar". Our faithful gratefulness to all who have gone before him, and all who will follow him yet.
