My Grandfather trained with the 17th but was shipped out to Europe with the 101st. I have pictures of him as a T/5 in the 101st uniform. I was told he went all the way into Eindhoven, then he went back to the 17th. I don't know what unit he was in, if anyone has him on a roster please contact me asap! His name was CHARLES DORSAL GADD.
