Hey Brother I was TDY and instructed the Demolitions class at 18th corps recondo for 3 months in 1982...The subdued patch was worn on the right pocket of our fatigues and the blue and white pin was worn in the same spot on our class As...The school was located just off Chicken Rd or Plank Rd if I remember correctly( getting old too)....My fondest memory is the first day I showed up all STRAC and starched up to teach the class and TOP just said come with me after I did my reporting. He then he took me outside and ran me for 10 miles to see what I could do....I fell out at about halfway I finished with him runnuing around me telling me my responsibilities along with the ass-chewing for the puke on my no longer spitshined boots...and the nasty state of my uniform, I later completed ranger school at Benning and both were compatible as far as LRRP tactics go,,Airborne All the Way Brother GETSUM
