Does anyone remember the mission in late 91 or early 92 when we sent an M88 over to Failaka Island to help recover a crane that was stuck in the sand? While our troops were ther, a few of them found human remains (skeleton with some tufts of hair and a bit of skin) on the beach and a US Flight Helmet near by. We notified the embassy and all but I never found out what or who that was. Anybody?
