Military Family in need
On Tuesday of last week Ssgt. David Green, (Security Squadron) house that his wife and her two children lived in burnt to the ground. On 22226 Bay Ave. The only thjing left standing was the fire place. We she came home her street was roped off and fire engines were putting out the blaze. If they wernt wearing it they lost it. We meaning myself Norma Gomez the victims sister and Angelica attempted to contact numerious crisis centers and AFAS ec. The AFAS will not help her now that she is homeless and living in a hotel with her two children. We cant even get a call returned from his command. We have no idea were he is or if he has been contacted. Last i checked she was still his dependent and so are those children. I guess what im asking is put yourself in her shoes for a moment a single mom barly struggling by losses everything. Ever memory. Every little thing that makes our home a home. I have always believed that our men in uniform were held to a hire standard then all the rest. She is staying at the Econo Lodge on Sunnymead. Were is the family suport the compation have we become so hard as people that we forget to stop and help the person right next to us.
