Events and things I remember: Renting the old farmhouse your house in town BM1 getting arrested in the Sioux for stealing a car The steak place in the sioux Poor man's champagne at Mackinaw Isle (MD20/20 and Sprite) The ship swap (Mesquite superstructure was light blue when it pulled up)(I also remember catching them trying to steel our big battle fenders) My 1st try as boom operator (scared the heck out of you deck guys) Amost getting run over by a freighter when we were docking at the sioux. That ensign that rammed a dock, thinking the ice was thick. Endless hours of icebreaking and trying to sleep with my head right next to the hull!
