Hi, My father, who passed away in 1998 also served on the Sam Houston. I believe he served aboard from 1965-1969. He retired in 1972 after serving 21 years in the Navy (ETSC). His name was John A. Walsh. He went by Jack. He also taught in the Sub school in Groton CT at the end of his Navy career. I also have a bunch of pictures from that time I scanned in the computer.
