My father served aboard the USS Tennessee from 1938 into 1942 when he left her, following her repair/update from the attack on Pearl Harbor, for sub school at New London. Would like to hear from anyone who knew my dad aboard the Tennessee. My dad was a Cook, 3rd class petty officer at the time.
