I dont know anything about what happened, my grandfather served on the USS TENNESSEE. I really never got to know him. His name was Virgil E. Haynie. I would like to know what kind of person he was? What it was like to be on the ship? I have asked a lot of questions through the years and nobody would ever answer. My heart goes out to all the members & their families.
