History book of 421st
I did buy one of the history books about the 421st from the time it was the Nevada national guard, at that time it was designated the desert wolfe, then it was sent to Burbank CA and givin new idenity 121 light division, they were givin responsibility of spoting any plane that was not suppose to be in the area at night time especially if they were near Burbank aircraft factory's at Fort Sill three different outfits come together to form the 421st. I come from camp Robinson Ark another from Louisiana & the 121 from Los Angeles, And there we become the 421st, After some training, We rode a train to Seattle, then convoyed to ft Louis, and boarded the uss rockbridge for Hawaii then to Eniwetok, Then to ulithy, then to Okinawa, We got off at night with the harbor smoked out. 49 days from Seattle to the time we landed. earlnev@att.net
