Dan here, havn't been here in quite awhile. Like your Dad, my grandfather didn't talk much about his experiences during combat. I only remember two stories he ever told, and that was after many "Old Style's". Then there were others, of his time with a petroleum outfit after he suffered a concussion from an "88" explosion in Jan 45 and his meeting up with his brother Howard, a BAR grunt while on leave in Paris.
