My father Alfred J. Sparks served in WWII with the 84th 334th infantry. My mom just found a bunch of old newspapers, and other things about the group, including a book titled Fortune Favored the Brave. I am beginning research to write a family history, I was interviewing my dad shortly before he died 15 years ago on Flag Day. We thought it a very appropriate date for a true American hero. Once I make copies and scan things, I am willing to share information with others who are also seeking information.
