CIB
Really confused about the cib and korea service. I served in korea (JSA/JSF) (11B) from 1986-1988. We did countless "combat patrols" which I know were illegal in the DMZ. Anyway, I have some fellow brothers that served in the Persian Gulf and the most action they seen were a herd of camels. They received the CIB for their service in Country. Why are the Korean veterans forgotten. My life as well as others were on the line everytime we went on recon and ambush patrols. Or is that supposed to be hush hush. I think it is time we get recognition for our service in that hostile country, Please let me know any thoughts.
Thanks,
Scott (USA 11B2V, Retired)
